ESR Distinction – Socially Responsible Company

The ESR® Distinction (Socially Responsible Company) is an annual recognition granted by the Mexican Center for Philanthropy (Cemefi) and AliaRSE to organizations that voluntarily and publicly demonstrate their commitment to socially responsible management and continuous improvement as part of their business culture and strategy.

This distinction is not a certification, but a documentary evaluation process based on a structured questionnaire that assesses company practices in four key areas.

Evaluation areas

1. Business ethics and governance
   Internal policies, codes of conduct, anti-corruption mechanisms, and non-discrimination practices.
2. Quality of life within the company
   Fair labor conditions, health and safety programs, professional development.
3. Community engagement
   Participation in social projects, corporate volunteering, and social investment.
4. Environmental care and preservation
   Practices to reduce environmental impacts, efficient resource use, and sustainability.

Since 2023, the model is also aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and includes governance and global context criteria.

2. Self-diagnosis completed with documentary evidence.
