Law 7/2021 and the Carbon Footprint in Melilla
Melilla applies Law 7/2021 on Climate Change and Energy Transition, which requires large companies to measure and register their carbon footprint starting from January 1, 2025. Although there is no specific regional regulation yet, the autonomous city is advancing in incorporating sustainability criteria, especially through the ERDF Program and Low Emission Zones (ZBE).
