Initiatives:

  • Carbon footprint calculation (Scopes 1, 2 and 3) with historical data ingestion and year-on-year comparisons by brand.
  • Analysis by textile fibers and processes (materials, spinning, dyeing, manufacturing) to answer client questionnaires.
  • Dataset ready for regulatory reporting and external requests (exportable through the platform).
  • Circular economy context: REDCYCLE project (fishing nets recycled into garments).

Initial problem:

Ternua needed a consolidated view of its footprint (Scopes 1–3) with comparable historical data and traceability by fiber/material to quickly respond to client requests and anticipate regulatory reporting.

Solution implemented and time:

We carried out the group-wide carbon footprint calculation, integrating previous years’ data and enabling comparisons by brand, country, and material in Carbon Manager. We also built specific views and exports for client questionnaires and compliance reporting.

Results and benefits obtained:

Ternua now has a centralized system to track its full footprint (Scopes 1–3), with historical comparisons and fiber-level breakdowns. This allows the company to respond rapidly to client requirements, prioritize lower-impact materials, and keep data ready for any reporting obligations. This approach aligns with its B Corp certification and circular economy projects such as REDCYCLE.
